StopBirdPorn.org Joking or Real?

Its really difficult to tell if the author is serious or not. Apparently people have been handing out flyers advertising the site and even rented a banner behind a plan flown over long beach. Is the site serious or just a massive joke? My thoughts are that its the beginning of a very odd viral marketing campaign. If that is the case it has been successful for me at least.

If anyone has more photos or other information concerning the Stop Bird movement please let me know!
